
Today is a hot Sunday. I had my Hi - tea at my favorite restaurant House , as usual , the restaurant was pack with customers. However, I love the cosy setting of layout and design.
We ordered carrot cake, Lemon Crumble and Pandan Jelly Sponge Cake. The carrot cake was special to talk about, is edible. Lemon Crumble - Lemon mouse sprinkled with crumbles, which was rather sour yet smooth. Pandan Jelly Sponge cake - is one of the signature cakes there, but I couldn't find any sponge cake,, but mouse so I think is more suitable to replace the name from "Sponge" to "Mouse" . At centre of the cake was Guntinous rice that helped to enhanced the taste to next level, especially mixing it with the almond mouse. Sedap !
